As someone who works on Facebook often and has had to try and appeal to them for help, I've never known Facebook to move quickly or decisively to do anything. <br /><br />If his page was removed, I have to assume that there were multiple complaints over a length of time, and that his misappropriation was egregious enough that even a relatively slow-to-act third party with no stake in the matter could conclude his actions were unethical, or at the very least bizarre and misguided.
