Batman Stands in Front of Hispanic Laundry

The other day, we were cruising down Park Street and we spotted Batman standing outside of the Hispanic Laundry. We're not quite sure why he was there. It's not like he was fighting crime, handing out fliers or performing any other sort of Batman-esque activity. He was just kind of standing looking a bit paunchy and middle aged. When we stopped to question him, he sprinted off into the afternoon.

Can anyone explain what was going on here?

  2. Park Place Health Care's (Spectrum Care) staff is still on strike. Maybe Batman escaped from there...

  3. Actually this story makes me smile with so much pride not only to be Latino , but also to say I am from Hartford. Nowhere else( perhaps New York) will you find people who have enough guts to do whatever the he'll they feel like! I applause this particular Batman. Park St in Hartford is pretty dope lined with awesome Latino bakeries and restaurants... if your not too scared to get out your car... I love the "Beat of Hartford."

  4. I grew up in Hartford(unfortunetly). When you have that many unmployed and lazy people, nothing is impossible. The guy doesn't have guts. He has nothing better to do, as most of the people on Park Street. There is nothing to be proud of when driving through Park street or any other street except for the dining. Aside from that, Hartford is a dead city, with no sort of hope for its folks.

  7. What you are seeing is the City's quick response team from 3-1-1. Batman has been subcontracting for a while with us as soon as he realized that Gotham City didn't actually exist. I was pulling for the Punisher myself but was blindsided when the Majority party (Damn Dems) went with Batman. I always suspected that Majority Leader Boucher was a DC Comics fan. On this particular call he was checking on a report of graffiti at St Anne's Church.

  9. A couple years ago I saw a guy driving down Farmington Ave. with a car that looked very similar to the original Bat Mobile and the license plate was the Bat Symbol. I wonder if its the same guy.

  10. He probably thought he could blatantly disregard the "No Loitering" sign if he was dressed like Batman. He's clearly an evil mastermind

  11. That's awesome that Batman gave you the thumbs up! He seems really down to earth. What's that in his left hand? Some kind of package of fish?
Maybe he's walking back from Solmar with red herrings.

  14. Jimmy Hartford,
Those who no longer live in Hartford couldn't possibly be the reason for contributing to its state of being, right? The people who make up the city are who make the city sad. It seems that you should know.
