Sad City Visits Colin McEnroe on WNPR today!

Sad City is happy to announce that Hakann Loob will be appearing on WNPR's The Colin McEnroe Show on Tuesday October 5 from the 1PM-2PM hour. The program can be heard on 90.5 on the FM dial in the Hartford area. Sad City will be in studio while The Colin McEnroe Show speaks with Ammon Shea about his new book, The Phone Book: The Curious History of the Book Everyone Uses But No One Reads.

Sad City readers know that Sad City loves pay phones, so the segment should be interesting to say the least. Colin McEnroe not only hosts his radio show, but also has a great blog; To Wit. which won the 2010 Hartford Advocate's Best Of poll in the blog category.

  1. I was born and raised in Hartford,I'm slightly older than Sad City, the pay phones stories reminded me of fun memories as a teenager my Mother would not let me leave the house without a dime in my pocket in case something happened and I needed to call home
