Why waste the money to build a billboard that states the fact that we are currently in a recession. We know this. Couldn't that money go towards something better?
Unrelated: pretty regularly, I've seen a bunch of dudes in the lot below that sign playing cricket. It's usually around 6-7pm on weekdays, though traffic hasn't been backed up enough for me to snag a photo.
@Cosmo: There's actually a Cricket Test Field just on the other-side on the Liebert Road side of Riverside Park. I've always wanted to go and take a look but never got about it.

ReplyDeleteI love the Ruth Chris' Steakhouse billboard right behind it. One of the most expensive steakhouses in CT.
