Everyone loves a good love story. Whether in literary prose or told through a cinematic lens, little captures the hearts and minds of the public like a great love story. Romeo and Juliet. Ross and Rachel.
That said, imagine our excitement when during our crossing of the sci-fi like overpass of I-91 we came across a Hartford love story told in the most unique way; the ubiquitous urban trademark of graffiti.
Ladies and gentlemen, Sad City is proud to a unique Hartford masterpiece, the story of Carmen and Danielle.
Here we see the early expression of love between Danielle and Carmen. Notice the star dotting the "i" in Danielle, a clear indication that this story is being told from the females perspective.
Now we see that the relationship has blossomed and in fact been consummated (after a minimum of three dates we presume!) Now we aren't too familiar with intercourse per se, but having been thrown down on concrete many times between elementary school and high school, we can attest to it not being the most comfortable surface, but, to each their own.
Here we learn that Carmen is apparently quite the cocksman. So much so in fact, that is appears Danielle was still woozy when she started to write this latest passage in their story and wrote Carmen's name backwards.
Alas, our story has reached a melancholy conclusion it appears Carmen seems to have moved on from the concrete for greener (softer?) pastures. Will Carmen and Danielle ever be reunited? We can only hope and wait for further updates on the I-91 overpass of this great Hartford love story.
