Billy's Neon At Night


One of the best things about the Christmas season is the many displays of bright lights. Almost makes you wonder why we all just don't display colorful lights all year round. While Bushnell and Goodwin Park have excellent Christmas displays this year, Billy's Package Store is still the undisputed champion of Hartford lights.

The Billy's Package (Pack?) Store sign on New Park Ave is far and away the best neon sign in Hartford. Our last visit to Billy's sign came during the day and everyone knows you really have to see a neon sign at night to fully appreciate this majestic medium. While neon is not everyone's favorite, we  are fans and wouldn't mind seeing more neon around town. Lots more. But, we agree with the Mayor, no casino please. If this tiny state is broke despite being home to two of the biggest casinos in the world, there really is no need for more.

    Billy's Package Store is very nice shop in my opinion. I am even thinking that I should know its store hours to public of USA. For that only I would love to publish it at istorehours.com.
