A Great Time For A Great Cause
It's well documented that Sad City are great fans of local hockey and always urge all looking for some great entertainment to take in a Whale game at the XL Center. This weekend the Whale are giving you an extra reason to come out and have a great time as part of the price of your ticket will go to benefit the East Hartford Police Officers' Memorial. While supporting local does mean going to farmers markets and shopping at family owner stores, it goes beyond that. The Whale are our local professional team in Hartford and it's the police that do the really tough work of keeping our neighborhoods safe.
This is an event that's quite near and dear to Sad City's heart so if you've been thinking about checking out a game this year, do us a favor and hit up the Friday night game at the XL Center. The Whale only have five home games left and a total of nine of the regular season so now is the time to jump on the bandwagon before the playoffs start. So do the Whale, the local police and (most importantly) you're good friends at Sad City and come to the game Friday. It's a win-win night in downtown for all. Email here to get your tickets or just order from the box office. It's win win for all.
