Hot In Hartford: McEnroe vs. The Mayor

The voting continues with a battle between Colin McEnroe, last years runner up and recipient of The Howard Stern Award for furthest advancing radio personality and Mayor Pedro Segarra who dominated the Hartford Mayoral election on his way to winning his first full Mayoral term. Mr. McEnroe is well known for hosting The Colin McEnroe Show on WNPR. Mr. McEnroe also writes the "To Wit" blog, a two-time winner of the Advocate's Best Of in the blog category.

Mayor Pedro Segarra took the helm of Mayor under less than ideal circumstances after the resignation of disgraced former Mayor Eddie Perez. Since taking the Mayor post, Segarra has excited Hartfordites with noticeable improvements the tearing down of the much maligned "Butt Ugly Building," acquiring the Capitol West building for a planned spring time demolition and bringing a much needed feeling of change and optimism after the too long and embarrassing reign of Eddie Perez. Segarra easily won a full term in the November elections. Will he fare as well in Hot In Hartford?

  2. Are you trying to underwhelm your readers... (first and last time for me). Seriously. Perhaps, you should simply move and go be happy - at least, try. Geez... this blog is sad.
